We are seeking a Business Analyst to play a central role in shaping end-to-end decision logic and workflow behavior for AI-driven solutions in insurance, healthcare, and other operations-heavy enterprise environments.

This role goes beyond documenting requirements. The Business Analyst will work directly with business, operations, and engineering teams to understand complex processes, define how decisions should be made across workflows, and ensure the resulting solution is functionally sound, usable, and aligned with business goals.

You will be responsible for helping structure ambiguous business problems into clear operational logic, partnering closely with AI Engineers and Full-Stack Developers to translate that logic into scalable systems, and driving alignment with stakeholders throughout the lifecycle of the solution.

Your responsibilities will centre around:

• Process Mapping & Requirements: Conduct deep-dive sessions with SMEs to create step-level ("10K feet view") and granular ("1K feet view") process maps.

• Process Discovery & Functional Definition: Lead discovery sessions with SMEs and stakeholders to understand, challenge, and map complex business processes at both high level and detailed operational level.

• End-to-End Decision Logic Design: Play a central role in defining end-to-end decision logic, workflow behavior, exception handling, and validation criteria in close collaboration with client stakeholders, operations teams, and engineering.

• Functional Definition of AI Solutions: Actively define, together with stakeholders and engineers, the scope, boundaries, decision points, and expected behaviors of AI agents, copilots, or workflow automation solutions across claims, benefits, care management, operations, or related domains.

• Business Rules Formalization: Structure and formalize business rules, operational criteria, and system behaviors from policies, SOPs, legacy systems, and stakeholder input into clear functional logic that can be implemented by technical teams.

• Validation & Testing Ownership: Drive validation and testing efforts in collaboration with stakeholders and engineering, defining acceptance criteria, test scenarios, and evaluation approaches to ensure alignment with expected outcomes.

• Stakeholder Alignment & Delivery Support: Work directly with client stakeholders and cross-functional internal teams to refine requirements, resolve ambiguities, surface tradeoffs, and support prioritization throughout delivery.

• Documentation: Maintain clear documentation of workflows, decision trees, business rules, system interactions, and expected outputs, ensuring shared understanding across all teams.
  
  Requirements:

• Experience: 5+ years of experience as a Functional Analyst, Business Analyst, Product Analyst, or similar role, ideally within insurance, healthcare, or other highly regulated, operations-intensive industries. Experience working in large organizations or enterprise environments is strongly preferred.

• Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of complex operational workflows in insurance or healthcare environments, such as claims, benefits administration, authorizations, case management, customer operations, or back-office processes.

• Analytical & Functional Thinking: Proven ability to break down complex business problems into structured workflows, decision logic, and actionable requirements, with strong judgment around edge cases, exceptions, and operational implications.

  Understanding of AI/ML concepts, specifically LLMs, RAG, and Agentic Frameworks

  Communication

  Advanced English, both written and spoken, with the ability to work directly with North American and European clients and stakeholders.

  Soft Skills
